Warrior K9 Wellness Program

Lifetime Program of Education. Conditioning and Engagement for Veterans and their Service Dogs.

How It Works

1
Assessment

We start by evaluating the current relationship status between the Veteran and the dog that is assisting them with their needs.

2
Training

Proprietary professional recertification, training if needed, and daily use of the K9 Pro Track App ensures the service dog meets the Veteran's needs.

3
Management

Veterans can undergo training, manage the health and wellness of their service dog team, and connect with other Veterans through the K9 Vet Connect service.

4
Lifelong Success

Every Veteran and service dog pairing experiences a more enriching and fulfilling life as the dog continues to serve through the WK9 wellness program.

What is the Warrior K9 Wellness program?

As the US government seeks to establish new standards for service dogs, it becomes essential for all those involved in supplying and supporting our service members to have access to additional tools.
The WK9 wellness program is one such tool. From the moment a dog is assigned to a service member, the key objective is to drive engagement and ensure consistent training and conditioning throughout the relationship.
Through our mobile app, WK9 facilitates engagement by incorporating gamification elements. Service members receive rewards for actively maintaining their daily habits, including feeding, walking, and training their service dogs. Additionally, we incentivize them to ensure that their dogs receive proper veterinarian care and grooming.
The program also enables service members to connect with trainers in person or through virtual sessions and upload videos to track their progress and receive feedback. Additionally, they can engage with a supportive community and report any overall benefits or issues they encounter.
With WK9, we aim to provide a comprehensive platform that empowers service members to actively participate in their service dogs' ongoing care and development while fostering a sense of community and support.
